My name is Emma Healy, and I'm a Product Designer at Alpha Omega in New York City (you can read more about that if you download my resume here). I'm a certified web accessbility expert, and I've been designing improvements to the US refugee, asylum, and immigration benefits system for the past three years. I'm so excited to be able to design intuitive, beautiful experiences that make people's lives better.Look, design is my passion, but everybody needs to shut their laptop sometimes. I take painting and drawing lessons at the New York Academy of Art Continuing Studies program. When the weather cooperates, you can find me grilling or hammocking in Riverside Park; otherwise you can bet I'm somewhere drinking hot chocolate or devouring an almond croissant. I'm originally from a town called Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and while I make the most of NYC's incredible food scene, I miss fried cheese curds.
